Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an exceptional and passionate Backend Engineer to join us. You’ll have the opportunities to ship to thousands of users from day 1. You’ll have significant ownership of the product. You’ll be building the most fun experience ever for global music fans!

As the Backend Engineer, you will:

• Scale and optimize our existing backend infrastructure.
• Contribute to the development of a robust architecture capable of supporting massive scale as we expand to new users and countries.
• Build internal tools we use for operations.
• Collaborate with the team to create new features for the app.
• Analyze trade-offs and address technical challenges related to key components of our backend.
• Participate in code and design reviews.

Ideal backgrounds are:

• Substantial experience with our stack: GCP, Node.js, Typescript, PostgreSQL.
• 5+ years experience building and scaling backend.
• Worked at consumer companies serving millions of users.
• Launched consumer apps on your own in the past.
• Love music and gaming.
• Experience with React Native is a bonus.
